Insomnia

3 am - Wide awake...tick tock...tick tock....mind racing despite innumerable Advil PMs....perfect time for sleep

3 pm - Task list includes preparing LLA application burden of proof and exhibits, contacting client and getting other applications moving in light of the small victory yesterday, preparing hearing presentation, project transfers, a hundred other million things.....state of mind = ready to pass out...

Why the fuck am I always so sleepy when I shouldn't be and not sleepy when I should be....

Presumably you're sleepy in the afternoon simply because you've been awake in the night? :-)

That said, 3pm is the worst time of day for productivity. Do you have flexitime? Maybe go for a run or gym or something (i.e. only physical exertion, no mental exertion required) at that time and work an extra hour later on when you're actually awake?

PR, nuh uh. 2pm is the worst. i have good reason for saying that too. i fell asleep DURING a PAPER, at my EXAM at 2pm!!! aaargh. can you imagine that? :-s

and unc, watch it with all those pills. i'm sure they can't be good for you.

Pseudo – thanks for the suggestion…runs are out of the question because it would take too much drive time, shower time, etc…client’s, etc make the 2-3pm nap inconvenient.

Pissu – thanks for the concern, duly noted:P

Because.
It's out to get us.
Our hidden madness that is.

I mean, look at me...I have barely slept 2 hours since yesterday and I am up reading your blog from the very beginning. =)
